Play English is the name of our Early Years section which caters for ages 3-5. The IB-PYP curriculum is implemented through the medium of both English and Italian. The language input for the 3 and 4 year olds follows a 50-50 model.
The Elementary School caters for students aged 6 to 11. It is a 5 year cycle, organized in grades from 1 to 5.
The curriculum (PYP) is implemented through a 70-30 language input in Grades 1 to 3 and a 60-40 input in Grades 4 and 5. Students begin to study a 3rd language from Grade 1.
At the end of grade 5 we take our students to sit the Italian state school.

This is a “transition” year between Preschool and elementary school for students aged 5 to 6.
In Transition the English language input increases to 80% and Italian drops to 20%.
The students are active learners, in a well organized and structured learning environment, where teachers support and extend their learning through activities based on the Units of Inquiry which encompass children’s interests and enhance every aspect of their development.
In the Early Years we integrate a “Linguistically appropriate program” (LAP) which offers students the opportunity to come to contact with different languages and cultures spoken by other classroom peers, teachers and the wider school community.
The Bilingual Middle Years Program is designed for students aged 11 to 14 (grades 6 to 8). The Curriculum is implemented through a 50-50 language input model. It is an IB-MYP inspired program where the Italian National curriculum standards have been incorporated and aligned.
Our students are prepared and well equipped to attend either Italian or International High schools at the end of their studies at our school.
